Presto Studios - Game Production

The field of Interactive Entertainment has grown at a tremendous pace since the introduction of CD-ROM and multimedia computers into the home. Come visit Presto Studios. as they discuss the path they have traveled over the last seven years from a team of friends meeting in a living room to the 30 person full-production development studio they have today.

The discussion will include design, production and technologies used to create their latest pre-rendered, photorealistic adventure game "The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time," which was launched by Red Orb (Broderbund) in February. Additionally, the team will provide a sneak peek of "Beneath," which has just been announced by Activision for release in Spring of 1999. Based on a proprietary real-time 3D engine, "Beneath" is Presto's first step into the Action/Adventure genre of games.
