Using Gaming Technology to Create Collaborative Educational Environments

The SDSC Science Exploratorium is a Multi-player collaborative environment that lets students explore and play in a 3D virtual science environment. The players can explore and play with on-line friends and solve puzzles, explore museums and historical sites from there desktops.

The goal of the project is to put into place various tools, environments and technologies that connect students with science and educational materials in a fun and collaborative on-line play space.
